Additional Funding & Grant Info for Small Business

As small business owners, we are all trying to make ends meet right now. Finances are often one of the hardest parts of owning and running a small business, especially right now. I have compiled this list of resources to help you get the help you need right now. Most of this information is specific to California, but it might be of use to business owners everywhere.

Employment Development Department - California

Right now they are offering Pandemic Unemployment Assistance as a part of the CARES act. Their website says “As part of the federal CARES Act, the new Pandemic Unemployment Assistance (PUA) program helps unemployed Californians who are business owners, self-employed, independent contractors, have limited work history, and others not usually eligible for regular state UI benefits” For more info Click Here

Small Business Finance Center (SBFC)

“The SBFC has several programs to support small businesses, including a Disaster Relief Loan Guarantee, a Jump Start Loan Program, and more”.(SBFC) They have a lot of info on eligibility and receiving loans for California businesses. Specifically a lot of info on the California Disaster Relief Loan Guarantee Program. Click here for their website.

Local Small Business Development Center (SBDC)

Your local SBDC can be a great resource for you. If you are in Santa Clara County/ Silicon Valley you are in luck. US Chamber of Commerce

The US Chamber of Commerce is providing a lot of useful information specific to each state and multi-state programs. It provides links and compiled a list of programs providing financial assistance to small businesses impacted by COVID-19. For more Info Click Here

Facebook

Facebook is offering $100M in cash grants and ad credits to help businesses that operate in or near a location where Facebook operates. The grants are going quick so act fast. Click here for more info

SBA
